QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

Quantitative research includes such devices as Member or client surveys, post exit surveys and industry and competitor research. Such research allows clients to undertake major benchmarking and organisational audits, which can be useful in providing clients with a picture of general organisational health.

Quantitative research includes scientific sampling methods and is based on a number of important factors including randomness and statistical validity. Also of major importance is the wording and construction of the questionnaire. It is important to avoid the errors that result from poor questionnaire design and ensure that a question does not bias the respondent’s answer.
